Description

This qualification allows for the attainment of competencies in test and evaluation required to plan, prepare, conduct and report test and evaluation processes. Applying knowledge of test and evaluation processes is specific to work undertaken for Defence and may be included within a variety of areas such as management, acquisitions, audits, inspections, policy implementation, technical manual development, platform integration, configuration, staff processes, transport and inter-operability.

Packaging Rules
Twelve (12) units of competency are required for this qualification comprising:
- eight (8) core units, plus
- four (4) general elective units.

Choose a minimum of two (2) elective units from the general elective units listed below.

Choose the remaining two (2) elective units from the general elective units listed below or from elsewhere within this Training Package, or from another endorsed Training Package, or from an accredited course.

All elective units chosen from outside this qualification must reflect the occupational and learning outcomes of this AQF qualification level.

Elective units chosen must not duplicate content already covered by other units in this qualification.

Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
