Description
This qualification is designed for mobile crane operation within the transport and logistics industry and other industries.
It involves a broad range of skilled applications applied in a wide variety of contexts.
Successful achievement of the high risk work (HRW) and heavy vehicle licensing units in the qualification must align with licensing and regulatory requirements.
People seeking certification for HRW licensing units should check the requirements with Safe Work Australia.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
A total of twenty (20) units of competency comprising:- Ten (10) core units listed below, plus
- One (1) elective from Group A elective units listed below, plus
- Six (6) units from Group B general elective units listed below, plus
- Three (3) elective units may be selected from Group A or Group B or from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
The elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.
Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
Where a prerequisite unit is attached to a unit, it is identified by this symbol ∟ on training.gov.au.
Note:
To comply with the National Standards for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work, there is a requirement to achieve TLILIC3006/TLILIC0018 Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) before commencing the selected slewing mobile crane licence unit.
Applying for a HRW licence for TLILIC0018 Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) is not a requirement if the selected mobile slewing crane licence is being applied for, as this licence covers TLILIC0018 Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity).
