This Skill Set is for existing engineering tradespersons who wish to progress to the supervision of welding processes and outcomes.

The Welding Supervisor Skill Set will provide existing workers with the skills to be able to write complex reports, inspect, interpret code requirements and diagnose faults. Throughout this course participants will gain knowledge and skills to prepare/formalise weld procedures, monitor weld production, inspect welds as per code requirements, align weld testing as per code requirements, document/record information and write detail report. This course covers the knowledge of the welding processes.
