Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to undertake research to guide material and design choices in kitchen, bathroom and laundry manufacture and installation. Learners with his competency have basic skills to support further study or entry-level work in furnishing and furniture making industries. This unit is usually delivered within a pre-employment training program. No licensing or certification requirements exist at the time of publication. Relevant legislation, industry standards and codes of practice within Australia must be applied.
