1. Prepare to optimise website for mobile devices
  • 1.1 Confirm work brief and tasks according to organisational policies and procedures
  • 1.2 Review user needs according to work brief
  • 1.3 Research options for responsive website design features
  • 1.4 Select suitable responsive design option according to work brief
  • 1.5 Confirm that mobile optimisation meets required web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and standards
2. Integrate website sitemap
  • 2.1 Analyse website structure and uniform resource locators (URLs)
  • 2.2 Format URLs with corresponding code and extensible markup language (XML) tags
  • 2.3 Validate URL codes according to work brief
  • 2.4 Add sitemap file to required website root folder
  • 2.5 Submit sitemap to search engines according to work brief
  • 2.6 Test sitemap on search engine and rectify any issues
3. Implement responsive website design features
