Description
This unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to identify and describe materials used in the production of footwear.The unit of competency applies to identifying a range of materials used in the footwear industry and their uses. Materials include natural and synthetic materials, adhesives and components.Work may be conducted in small to large scale enterprises and may involve individual and team activities.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
