This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to manage the reporting of slaughter data for the mob based National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) data base.This unit applies to Quality Assurance managers or livestock clerks who are responsible for reconciling actual slaughter data with the shift kill sheet. The unit also covers the uploading of data to the NLIS data base.All work should be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, customer requirements and product specifications.This unit applies to individuals who work under broad direction and take responsibility for their own work including limited responsibility for the work of others.
