Description
This unit describes the performance outcomes required to select earthmoving and off-the-road (OTR) vehicle tyres, wheels and rim assemblies to suit specific applications. It involves identifying and confirming work requirements; preparing for work; selecting tyres, wheels and rim assemblies; and completing work finalisation processes.It applies to those working on earthmoving and OTR vehicle tyres, wheels and rim assemblies in the mining, construction and other industrial environments.Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements may apply to this unit in some jurisdictions.
