Description
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to apply knowledge of automated workplace fundamentals for work in an automated work environment.It includes identifying the sources, use and importance of data by sourcing and retrieving information relevant to autonomous workplaces; explaining the contribution of automation within the value chain and working safely in an automated workplace.Work is performed under general supervision within a team environment.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

2 Source and retrieve information relevant to autonomous workplaces

  • 4.2 Isolation and functional requirements associated with automated systems, devices and equipment are identified and confirmed
  • 4.3 Safe and responsible behaviours in an automated workplace is demonstrated
