This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to work as part of a team to develop landfill rehabilitation plans to meet client requirements. The unit covers identifying features and requirements of the landfill rehabilitation plan based on analysis of all site development options, and feasibility and lifecycle assessments. The unit includes developing rehabilitation plans that ensure soil profiles are constructed to ensure contamination is stabilised; use approved landfill methods; and incorporate implementation strategies.
