1 Plan for fabric or product production
- 1.1 Design and method of fabric or product production is identified.
- 1.2 Required materials, tools and equipment are identified.
- 1.3 Pattern for production is identified and reviewed.
- 1.4 Tools and equipment are assessed for ability to achieve plan.
- 1.5 Identify additional resources that may be required.
2 Prepare for production
- 2.1 Required materials, tools and equipment are prepared.
- 2.2 Equipment is checked to ensure correct operation.
- 2.3 Work space is organised and prepared.
3 Produce fabric or product
- 3.1 Equipment is used to produce fabric or product according to plan and required OHS practices.
- 3.2 Minor product process faults are identified and corrected where necessary.
4 Complete production process
- 4.1 Product is unloaded or removed from equipment.
- 4.2 Product is assessed against plan.
- 4.3 Product faults are rectified.
- 4.4 Work space and equipment are cleaned.
- 4.5 Tools and equipment are stored.
