1. Prepare to incorporate videos into media presentations
  • 1.1 Confirm work brief and tasks according to organisational policies and procedures
  • 1.2 Analyse advantages and disadvantages of available video-formatting software and media presentation technology
  • 1.3 Identify and source required video assets according to work brief
  • 1.4 Select and source video-formatting and media presentation hardware, software and components
2. Design videos
  • 2.1 Combine video assets using video-editing software
  • 2.2 Control variations in video frame rates according to work brief
  • 2.3 Apply asset time stamping according to organisational requirements
  • 2.4 Save video assets according to organisational policies and procedures
3. Edit videos
  • 3.1 Edit single and multiple video tracks according to work brief
  • 3.2 Join multiple video tracks according to video-formatting and media presentation specifications
  • 3.3 Integrate video tracks with digital effects
  • 3.4 Apply time encoding to single and multiple edited video tracks
  • 3.5 Export video tracks in required media presentation format
4. Add videos to media presentations
  • 4.1 Test edited videos and rectify any issues within scope of own role
  • 4.2 Combine audio, visual and textual effects
  • 4.3 Seek and apply feedback for incorporated video assets from required personnel
  • 4.4 Save media presentation according to organisational policies and procedures
