This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to set up and operate a mechanical harvester to meet harvesting requirements.The unit applies to individuals who are required to follow workplace procedures in completing tasks associated with the operation of a mechanical harvester.All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures according to state/territory health and safety regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements are known to apply to this unit at the time of publication.
