This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to apply the principles for the selection and use of bituminous emulsion in Civil construction. 1. Plan and prepare for applying the principles for the selection and use of bituminous emulsion
  • 1.1 Access, interpret and apply the principles for the selection and use of bituminous emulsion, documentation and ensure the work activity is compliant
  • 1.2 Obtain, read, interpret, clarify and confirm work requirements
  • 1.3 Ensure a job plan, is available which makes best use of the available resources and meets task requirements
  • 1.4 Identify the training requirements of team members and develop training plans
2. Ensure appropriate initiation of tasks is carried out
  • 2.1 Confirm that the necessary resources are available

  • 3.4 Implement training plans
4. Report on the execution of tasks
