Description
This unit covers use of a compliance matrix to demonstrate that an organisation is operating within an established enterprise architecture framework. It includes measuring conformity with the framework, verifying compliance, and acting on compliance results. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. In a Defence context, this means that there is no civilian need to hold this unit in order to meet licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements.

Elements and Performance Criteria
1. Measure conformity with enterprise architecture framework
- 1.1 Compliance business process is applied.
- 1.2 Compliance matrix is used to measure conformity with established enterprise architecture framework.
- 1.3 Staff are assisted to complete matrix accurately.
- 1.4 Emerging difficulties are resolved.
2. Verify compliance
- 2.1 Compliance matrix results are mapped against enterprise architecture framework.
- 2.2 Degree of compliance with enterprise architecture framework is verified.
- 2.3 Areas of non-compliance are identified and recorded.
3. Act on compliance results
- 3.1 Compliance documentation is prepared in accordance with organisational procedures.
- 3.2 Results of compliance matrix audit are reported.
- 3.3 Recommendations to improve compliance are prepared and presented.

Evidence must be gathered over time in a range of contexts to ensure the person can achieve the unit outcome and apply the competency in different situations or environments
