Elements and Performance Criteria
1 Plan and prepare for operations
- 1.1 Access, interpret and apply compliance documentation relevant to the control of emergencies and critical situations and ensure the work activity is compliant
- 1.2 Identify the responsible person for project accountability
- 1.3 Obtain, read, confirm and apply work instructions
- 1.4 Identify and report all potential hazards
- 1.5 Coordinate job requirementswith others at the site
2 Prepare pumping and fluid systems
- 2.1 Confirm pumping and fluid parameters
- 2.2 Ensure pumping and fluid parameters have been met by Derrickman
3 Make up required fishing equipment
- 3.1 Confirm with authorised responsible person what is required to be run down hole
- 3.2 Obtain and review SOP/JSA and/or manufacturers operating instruction for fishing tool/s to be used in the operation
- 3.3 Assemble and record fishing tool/s details such as ID/OD/lengths
- 3.4 Make up fishing assembly
4 Run in hole to latch fish
- 4.1 Run to depth and parameters, and avoid well underbalance or hang-ups
- 4.2 Trip tubing/rods while maintain well control
5 Progress to latch and retrieve fish
- 5.1 Latch fish as per the running and latching procedure
- 5.2 Trip out of hole while maintaining well control
