  • 1.1 Identify hand tools and equipment used for garden and farm activities
  • 1.2 Identify purpose for each hand tool and equipment
  • 1.3 Identify maintenance and storage requirements for each hand tool and equipment
  • 1.4 Identify safety hazards and controls for hand tools and equipment according to workplace procedures and manufacturer instruction
2. Select and use hand tools and equipment for specified purpose
  • 2.1 Prepare the work area for using hand tools and equipment according to safe work practices and workplace procedures
  • 2.2 Select hand tools and equipment for specific activity
