Description
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to identify animal anatomy and physiological functions of animals. It incorporates knowledge of animal classification, animal body systems, physiological functions and external anatomical features of animals to recognise normal health.The unit applies to individuals who work primarily with mammals, but also birds and reptiles, in animal care environments.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
