This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to administer market supply systems. It includes identifying market supply system components, participating in a market supply system, evaluating a market supply system and reporting on a market supply system. Supply systems are based around the sequencing of operations and/or groupings of organisations that work together to design, produce and deliver a product or service for a specific market. Participants typically include direct market players, suppliers of supporting goods and services and entities that influence the market supply system. The unit is applicable to individuals working in domestic and/or global supply chains. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit of competency at the time of publication.
