Elements and Performance Criteria
1 Determine scope of network data
  • 1.1 Determine network data requirements from work specifications
  • 1.2 Determine security requirements for network data system to prevent unauthorised access
  • 1.3 Determine and obtain, as required, relevant equipment, software and testing devices
  • 1.4 Identify programming functions to produce network data according to operational procedures
  • 1.5 Provide programming support for relevant personnel
2 Analyse and verify network data
  • 2.1 Analyse data generated for accuracy according to work specifications
  • 2.2 Analyse existing network data output for relevance, accuracy and current trends
  • 2.3 Test and monitor network data output for accuracy
  • 2.4 Interrogate network data to identify current, historical and predicted information
  • 2.5 Use network data software tools to test and monitor programs and correct identified anomalies according to workplace procedures
3 Document network data
  • 3.1 Record and document network data programs according to workplace procedures
  • 3.2 Distribute network data generated to relevant personnel and industry bodies according to workplace procedures
  • 3.3 Complete reports and notify relevant personnel of network data results
