This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to provide specialised make-up services for productions in the screen, media and entertainment industries.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of endorsement.

Interpret creative briefs
- 1. Analyse production documentation to determine overall production requirements
- 2. Participate in preliminary concept meetings to discuss specialised make-up requirements

Conduct and evaluate research
- 4. Use appropriate research techniques to identify and source reference materials to clarify aspects of specific make-up design projects
