Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to.In this situation, the person must be capable of displaying sound judgement in circumstances where professional and ethical ambiguities arise, or when there are conflicts of interest (such as the interests of service police, unit, service and/or wider community). This work is normally undertaken while working with an associate, but also includes the ability to work individually and independently when carrying out policing operations. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
