Description

To provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills essential for
the management of human and physical resources within a retail organisation by
consideration of the functional aspects of management of planning, organising
and control with an introduction to the personnel function of staff selection,
training, supervision and industrial relations.

To provide an understanding and appreciation of the role and importance of the
sales supervision and administration function with a retailing or marketing
organisation.

To provide participants with the opportunity to undertake a field study
research assignment with a retail enterprise to be able to formulate an entry
level project on selling techniques.
