Description
This course was developed to meet licensing requirements of the WA Electrical Licensing Board for an onshore person with an overseas electrical qualification to be issued a Western Australian Unrestricted Electrical License.
Schedule
- eight (8) core units
All eight (8) units must be completed to achieve a licensed outcome.
While undertaking the course, learners must complete 12 months on the job work experience and complete the ETL Gap Training Course Logbook issued by the RTO. The Course Logbook is monitored by the employer/supervising electricians and the RTO.
UEEEL0039 - Design, install and verify compliance and functionality of general electrical installations must not be undertaken until all other units have been successfully completed and the 12 months on the job work experience has been verified by the RTO.
1. Core Units
All eight (8) units must be completed.
The delivery mode of this course is blended consisting of in class delivery and assessment and on the job work experience.
While undertaking the course, learners must complete 12 months on the job work experience and complete the ETL Gap Training Course Logbook issued by the RTO. The Course Logbook is monitored by the employer/supervising electricians and the RTO.
UEEEL0039 - Design, install and verify compliance and functionality of general electrical installations must not be undertaken until all other units have been successfully completed and the 12 months on the job work experience has been verified by the RTO.
While undertaking the course learners must hold a Provisional Electricians License issued by the WA Electrical Licensing Board. As a holder of this license, they must be supervised by a WA Unrestricted Licensed Electrician, therefore they must be employed for that purpose.
The delivery method meets and satisfies the requirements of Electrical Licensing Board Policy Number ELB - EW059 - 08/2022 for the issuing of a WA Unrestricted Electricians License for Onshore Tradespersons.
