Description

The content of the course consists of theory modules and practical modules. The theory modules provide knowledge that is essential for understanding the effects of light and prism on lens design, and the principles that underpin quality practice and standards in lens design and manufacture. The practical modules develop skills in fitting and edging, lens surfacing and modification as well as the production of special optical appliances.
