Description

Certificate IV in EAL (Access) enables the consolidation of advanced English language speaking and listening, reading and writing skills to access a range of community options. Outcomes include a range of complex communication skills and knowledge in English, literacy skills including digital literacy skills to enable effective community participation, including in leadership roles.

Schedule
To achieve 22256VIC Certificate IV in EAL (Access), a total of eight (8) units of competency must be completed. This comprises:
- one (1) core units
- one (1) speaking and listening unit
- one (1) read and writing unit
- two (2) language skills elective units (see course outline/note below) (not previously completed)
- three (3) general elective units (see note below)

NOTES:
The Two (2) Language Skills elective units which can be selected from Speaking and Listening and / or Reading and Writing units which have not been previously completed from:
- this qualification
- Certificate III and / or IV qualifications in this EAL Framework

The Three (3) electives which can be selected from the:
- General Electives listed in this qualification
- General Electives listed in the Certificate III and / or IV qualifications in this EAL Framework
- units / modules which are first packaged in AQF level 3, 4 or 5 qualifications in other accredited curricula and / or endorsed training packages.
