Description
To provide the student with technical training
equivalent to 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B of the TAFE segment
of the apprenticeship course in Combined
Hairdressing.
To enhance skill development in all aspects of the trade enabling the student
to equal the level of training of an industrial apprentice who has completed 2
years of an apprenticeship.

2 CERTIFICATE OF PRE-APPRENTICESHIP STUDIES
To be eligible for the Certificate of
Pre-Apprenticeship Studies, the student must gain a
pass standard in each subject of the Certificate.
3 NEW APPRENTICE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT SCHEME (NATAS)
For an apprentice to be eligible for a
DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING TRADE
CERTIFICATE, the apprentice must have achieved
the competencies as determined by the rules of the
appropriate Trade Training Schedule (TTS).
Achievement of College-listed competencies for each
apprentice, as listed in the TTS, is to be recorded
on the appropriate Trade Training Schedule
Assessment forms.
The Division of Industrial Training (DIT) will
require a complete College assessment report at the
conclusion of the apprentice's College training.
This report is to be forwarded to DIT prior to the
close of College business in the year of completion.
