State Implementation and Classification
Description
To equip students with the knowledge of skills and attitudes essential for
working with a wide range of aged care services.
To enable students to practise as direct care workers within the aged care
stream and provide them with the necessary skills relevant to aged care. For
example, structure and funding for aged care. The aging process, recreation and
physical activities.
To develop students' awareness of, and ability to use a wide range of
assessment including PCAI, RCI, HACC and CAACP documentation.
