State Implementation and Classification
Description
To provide training to Engineering Associate Level
in the Microcomputer Industry and develop in the
student the abilities to:
-
analyse the operation of microcomputers and
microcomputer systems and systematically locate faults where the understanding
of micrcomputers and microcomputer systems as an entity is required.
-
design, develop and implement the simple digital systems
by using establisher techniques.
-
implement and manage maintenance projects in small/medium
microcomputer installations.
-
prepare and document information relating to microcomputer
projects and studies of systems, and present that information in written or
oral form.
-
deal with customers and clients and develop an
understanding of their requirements, and explain in written or oral form the
optimum microcomputer system to meet their needs.
-
extend personal knowledge and competence through reading
and practical studies, and adapt as new technologies.
-
supervise personnel and assist in their training; apply
modern management methods and provide technical advice as personnel; develop
sensitivity to people and an understanding of their behaviour.
