Description
The intended outcome of this Course is to provide learners with specific skills and knowledge to facilitate and/or work in a non-regulated early childhood education service in WA. A non-regulated early learning service is any service that caters for children aged from birth to five years of age, that is not under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and includes Playgroups and Child and Parent Centres.
The course will additionally create the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge of those engaging with children and families as part of their service provision across community service and health settings. In addition to the above occupational impacts, the course will also provide parents and caregivers engaging with these services with the opportunity to participate in supported learning creating pathways to employment and/or further training across the community service, education and health sectors that align with the early years.
