Description

This course aims to provide accredited training at AQF 1 for those wishing to pursue involvement as leaders in a community groups, and for those existing leaders who wish to enhance their leadership skills.

In particular, the course will develop skills and knowledge required to lead large and small groups in a manner that is consistent with accepted policies and procedures of community expectations.

While primarily intended for young people aspiring to leadership positions, community leaders, and for those wishing to improve their leadership skills, the generic nature of the knowledge and skills developed in the course are widely applicable in most workplace situations, including community organisations, culturally diverse groups, and social groups.

This Certificate I in Leadership Development course is aimed to promote the development of leadership skills including the ability to influence a group toward the achievement of community organisational goals.
