CORE: Learners are required to complete the GENERIC CORE listed below and the specific Pathway core plus electives to equal 36 full modules. See General Notes for course rules. Learners may enter with 43311 EA003 Engineering Maths B or 43781 EA003 engineering Maths B (98). Both versions are acceptable as the core maths unit.

VET Info Notes
2. Learners entering with a Certificate III in Engineering Trade or Certificate III in Engineering Production or equivalent are required to complete a maximimum of 6 NMEC/EPC modules not used as part of the Certificate III; and a minimum of 15 EA level modules and minimum of 9 EB level modules to total 30 modules. Entry with a Certificate IV in Engineering (HET) should contact the EMCSSN.
3. Modules 54383 - Oil and Gas Extraction, 54381 - Petroleum Economics, 54382 - Petroleum Chemistry and Refining and 54384 - Oil and Gas Processing are designated EB modules.
4. This course is produced by Midland college of TAFE for the Engineering and Mining CSSN which has a non-exclusive licence to produce, distribute and maintain the course structure on behalf of the Crown. Training Products Australia are copyright holders of some of the module descriptors included in this course.
