Description

This qualification reflects the competencies required by those having employment aspirations to work within the Defence support industry. It may provide pathways to employment or further education and training opportunities in engineering or logistics.

Individuals will apply a broad set of skills in the use of a range of technologies and processes in a variety of work contexts in meeting Defence client needs.

They will ensure confidentiality and security of client information and understand how to protect themselves and the organisation from cyber threats.

Work will be undertaken individually and within teams in the procurement of materials and in the provision of services to ensure the quality of products produced by the supply chain of the organisation.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
