State Implementation and Classification
Description
This qualification comprises units of competence relevant to individuals who could attain professional outcomes in the aquaculture, fisheries or marine science sectors. Employment outcomes could include hatchery management, aquaculture enterprise management, aquaculture/fisheries research/compliance or management. Educational outcomes could include Masters by coursework or Bachelor Honours.

It is recommended that clients also complete the elective units to enhance the qualification.

These electives have been selected to enhance the core requirements of the qualification, but are additional rather than integral to the qualification. They are particularly relevant for students with no prior aquaculture qualifications or experience.
