Description

This course is intented to provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to perform the following functions in a Christian ministry context:

- identify, interpret and compare information related to basic Christian beliefs
- provide information related to Christian beliefs and understandings to some Christian and some non-Christian audiences
- propose what actions are appropriate in a range of life and ministry situations based on interpretations about Christian beliefs.

Schedule
To achieve the Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology qualification, the participant must complete a minimum of nine (9) units made up of six (6) core and a minimum of three (3) electives.

Participants can exit the course at any point, and may choose to restrict their studies to particular units. Participants who do not complete all the requirements for a qualification will be issued a Statement of Attainment listing those units of competency for which all requirements have been satisfied.

There are no pre-requisites for core competency units in this qualification.

Electives
Elective units may include:
- suggested competency units listed below;
- relevant competency units from the Community Services Training Package;
- where appropriate to the specific ministry context for individual learners and to address workplace requirements, competency units from other National Training Packages or accredited courses.

Elective units may not include core competency units from any other Christian Ministry and Theology qualification.
