State Implementation and Classification
Description
The Certificate I in Leadership supports entry level individuals with their transition to employment, further education or community participation. This course is a bridging course for individuals who need to develop employability skills and provides a pathway to the Certificate II in Leadership.
Schedule
- All five (5) core units listed below, plus
- At least four (4) elective units (see elective unit information below).
Select four (4) elective units from any endorsed Training Package or Accredited Course at AQF level 1 to bring the course up to a minimum of 270 nominal hours. One elective unit may be chosen from AQF Level 2.
Elective units should be relevant to the key learner cohort, job outcome or local industry requirements and the qualification level. It is recommended that one elective unit should have a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) focus.
Units drawn from Training Packages or other Accredited Courses must comply with the Assessment Guidelines of that Training Package or Accredited Course.

2. Suggested Elective Units
