Description

The Certificate I in Leadership is a pathway to the Certificate II in Leadership course. The Certificate I in Leadership is a bridging course for clients who need to develop the necessary employability skills which will support their transition to work, further education and community participation.

Schedule
To achieve the Certificate I in Leadership, participants must successfull completed a total of nine (9) units comprising of:
- six (6) core units and;
- three (3) elective units.
1. Core Units

All six (6) units must be completed.

2. Elective Units

Select three (3) elective units from any currently endorsed Training Package or Accredited Course at AQF level 1 to bring the course up to a minimum of 270 nominal hours. One (1) elective unit may be chosen from AQF level 2.

Elective units should be relevant to the key client group, job outcome or local industry requirements and the qualification level. It is recommended that one (1) elective unit should have a Work Health and Safety (WHS) focus.
