Description
This course has been designed to meet the needs of Indigenous community based learners who wish to develop knowledge in health related areas and ‘hands on’ skills in maintaining a healthy living environment relevant to community life. In particular, the course is comprised of various health, hygiene and nutrition related theory units along with relevant practical units focusing on caring for community members with special needs eg aged, disability and infants.
This course is intended to help successful participants to safely and efficiently provide basic health care services to members of the community.

Learners to complete the eight (8) compulsory units listed below
