To provide trade studies in the Metals and Engineering Trades.

To provide the theoretical basis and the development of skills and safe working
practices commonly found in the Metals and Engineering Industries,
supplementary to employer-provided work practice and on-the-job experience in
the industry.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Both student and total hours are notional and are guidelines for provider
management purposes only.

Instructors and students should be encouraged to take advantage of the
acceleration facility afforded by competency-based training.
