Description

To provide a formal training base of electronic and workshop study with some
microcomputer and technical drawing awareness that will prepare students for
further study toward a Certificate IV and Diploma in the electronic field.

To also provide training for employment as technical assistant, electronic
counter sales or trainee technician/technical officer.

1 Completion of the modules in this course will provide the learner with
the off-the-job component only. Competent performance will be achieved when
the learner can practise the skills and meet the requirements of recognised
competency schedules.

2 CREDIT TRANSFER

Upon successful completion of the technical training section of this course,
the learner will be credited with the relevant modules in Certificate IV of
Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer Systems
Engineering.

3 CERTIFICATE II OF ELECTRONIC STUDIES

To be eligible for the award of Certificate II of Electronic Studies the
learner must reach a pass standard or competence in all modules of the course.
