Description
To enable students to:
- examine the art and skills involved in applique;
- examine the skills involved in quilting;
- develop skills in the art of De Coupe;
- research and examine the skills involved in the production
of machine embroidery.

Two garments, accessories, or articles featuring a substantial amount of
embroidery, using Cut work, Machine Embroidery, Applique, De Coupe, or
Quilting, or a combination of these techniques.
The same technique may not be used for both articles
ie if one form of applique is used for the first
article no other type of applique is to be used for
the second.
Two garments, accessories, or articles featuring a
lesser amount of embroidery may be substituted for
one more substantial article, however, no two
articles can employ the same embroidery technique.
A substantial amount of the embroidery on these
garments must be done in class time under the
lecturer's supervision.
