To increase students' feelings of self-esteem.
To improve students' abilities to set both workplace
and personal goals, and to work towards them.

Internal Assessment 100%
As the course is designed to raise awareness of
personal issues progress will not be formally
assessed. Regular in-class assessment of student progress in meeting the
objectives in Topics 1-6 will comprise 100% assessment.
Attendance and participation will be considered when
assessing students.
A follow-up workshop, designed to discuss progress
towards implementation of the steps outlined in the
personal career development assignment in Topic 6.2,
will be held at an appropriate time after the module
has been completed.
