Description
To provide learners with the skills to effectively use a database package for
common scientific applications.
Range of Variables
Skills may be acquired either on- or off-the-job using a variety of methods.

It is preferable that learning take place over a minimum of nine weeks so that
there is adequate time for learners to assimilate knowledge and reinforce
concepts.

Where block release is used, learners must have prior access to learning
materials (eg. course notes) that cover all theory and practical instructions.
