The purpose of this module is to explore alternative modes of dealing with metaphor and symbolism in sculpture; to research and discuss issues relating to transformation and metaphor in current and historical examples of sculpture; to apply varied approaches to the generation of ideas for sculptural projects; and to articulate critical and speculative responses to issues and practices in sculpture
