Description

The Advanced Diploma of Art & Design provides training to national AQF level 6 for individuals who wish to pursue careers in visual art, craft and design. Graduates of the Advanced Diploma will have attained advanced skills and knowledge in their specialised areas of theory and practice, in addition to accomplishments in professional practice and studio business management, with the ability to exploit electronic media and other new fields for creative ends.

Graduates will be able to plan and manage collaborative or individual projects within contractual guidelines, and will be prepared for the realities of independent practice. Research and documentation, experimentation and evaluation lead to the acquisition of skills and knowledge in key areas of contemporary visual art, craft and design theory and practice.
