Description
The aim of this module is to research and interpret criteria for contemporary wheelwork and to develop concepts and prototypes for niche markets; identify current trends in ceramics design and function; and apply advanced knowledge and skills to the production and evaluation of contemporary ceramic products. The learner will select, apply and evaluate appropriate wheelwork technologies and materials to fulfil specific market criteria.
