To provide the participant with the knowledge, hands on experience and the
skills that they will need to be able to, plan and prescribe, teach and
demonstrate and supervise resistance training exercises and programs.

Range of Variables
This module provides for delivery by off-the-job training in a mode that
facilitates the learning of the theoretical and practical components of
Resistance Training. The successful application of principles to the practical
area will be assessed in both classroom demonstrations and the off-the-job,
practical placement module.
In addition to this unit students will be required to complete a personal
resistance training program and provide proof of advancement in personal
training variables.
