Description
To give students a knowledge of shipping transport,
including the types of ships and services, the role
and nature of shipping terminals as well as the
facilities required at these terminals, ports and
their management and government regulation of this
transport mode.

To provide a knowledge of air transport with an
examination of aircraft in use, the services being
operated, airline policies in Australia, the nature
of Government regulation, air and ground
navigational aids and a study of aerodromes and
ground terminals.
