Description
To provide learners with an overview of aquatic organisms and the environment
in which they live, while focusing on the development of skills useful to a
Technical Assistant employed in this field.

outcomes in line with the assessment method shown.

Information on Occupational Health and Safety related to aspects of this module
must be provided prior to the commencement of the Learning Outcomes.

Theoretical Exam - to consist of multiple choice and/or short answers.
Assignments - to include select written and practical exercises which
reinforces subject concepts

Assessment is made up of the following:

- Theoretical Exams - 2 x 1 Hour 50%
- Assignments/practical assessment 50%
