Description
To provide learners with the opportunity to develop basic skills and knowledge
to convert survey measurements into surveying and mapping co-ordinates and
compute set out data to facilitate the construction of an engineering design.
Range of Variables
This module contains learning outcomes that require theory instruction under
standard classroom conditions. The theory component will be assessed at the
end of the instructional period when learners are required to sit for a closed
book theory test.

The practical component will be assessed by appropriate laboratory reports. It
is necessary to pass individually the practical component and the theory
component to pass the module.
